Watch cases and bezels
Polished zirconia cases, bezels, and back covers.
Product family
Black, white, and coloured zirconia parts for watches, wearables, and electronics, where appearance, polish, and scratch resistance matter as much as dimensions.

Product overview
Zirconia is used in wearables and electronics because it is scratch-resistant, feels good to touch, and does not block radio signals like metal. Parts are usually injection molded or pressed, sintered, then ground and polished to a mirror or matte finish.
Typical requests include watch cases, bezels, and back covers, phone and device back plates, buttons and keys, and decorative inserts in black, white, or coloured zirconia.
Appearance criteria need to be defined as clearly as dimensions. Send the 3D model, colour, finish, and cosmetic inspection standard.
Product types
These are made to customer drawings or samples, not sold from stock. Final material, route, and acceptance are confirmed for each drawing.

Decision map
Use the final column as a drawing and RFQ check. A requirement is easier to review when its function and acceptance evidence are stated together.
| Requirement | Why it changes the route | What to define in the RFQ |
|---|---|---|
| Colour and finish | Colour consistency and polish level vary by grade and process. | Provide colour reference, gloss or matte, and approved samples. |
| Cosmetic inspection | Pits, scratches, and edge chips are judged visually. | Define cosmetic zones, defect limits, and lighting conditions. |
| Volume and tooling | Molded parts need tooling that pays at volume. | Give annual volume and tooling plan. |
Material paths
Most common colours; black zirconia is popular for watches.
Other colours are possible; consistency must be agreed with samples.

Engineering guides
Each guide below narrows one part family or manufacturing constraint and leads back to the drawing information needed for review.
How engineers should specify zirconia ceramic machining for high-strength pins, plungers, bushings, sleeves, valve parts, wear components, fixtures, and precision mechanisms.
Specify ceramic surface finish by functional face, distinguish roughness from flatness and subsurface damage, and agree measurement and qualification evidence before quotation.
Choose a ceramic machining route by blank state, shrinkage responsibility, finishing allowance, functional datums, and first-article evidence before comparing quotations.
Questions before quotation
White and black are standard; other colours can be reviewed. Colour consistency is agreed with approved samples.
Engineering RFQ
Start with the part function, material or grade if known, quantity, and the critical requirements; an early-stage brief is enough to begin. If online submission is interrupted, the form prepares the same RFQ as an email instead.
