About CERAMIC CNC and Our RFQ Review Process
CERAMIC CNC is the precision ceramic machining RFQ website operated by Suzhou Como Precision Materials Co., Ltd. Company information is also available on the Como Precision corporate website. Engineering and procurement inquiries go to info@szcomo.com.
We review custom ceramic drawings before quotation. The review looks at material grade, blank state, geometry, datums, grinding or lapping route, edge condition, surface finish, and inspection evidence.
RFQs may involve alumina Al2O3, zirconia ZrO2, silicon nitride Si3N4, silicon carbide SiC, MACOR, fused silica, AlN, BN, and selected machinable ceramics. Feasibility, price, and lead time depend on the exact grade, blank form, fired state, feature risk, quantity, and acceptance requirements.
What We Review
- Ceramic material grade, fired state, and blank source.
- CNC machining, diamond grinding, lapping, polishing, edge conditioning, and micro-drilling needs.
- Critical datums, seal faces, bores, holes, slots, thin walls, and edge-chip risk.
- Surface finish, flatness, parallelism, profile, CMM, optical checks, Ra, key-dimension reports, and other acceptance evidence.
Application Fit
We commonly review parts for semiconductor and vacuum equipment, electrical insulation, pump and dispensing hardware, sealing and valve components, wear components, nozzles, precision sleeves, ceramic plungers, precision plates, research fixtures, and industrial OEM assemblies.
What to Confirm Before Ordering
The website describes materials, part families, and process options for drawing review. It is not an equipment inventory or a promise that every listed process is performed in-house. Ask for the proposed manufacturing and inspection route, including any externally performed steps, before approving the quotation.
For supplier qualification, state which documents you need: the contracting company details, applicable quality-system certificate and scope, selected material grade and traceability, first-article report, inspection method, and packaging requirements. Availability and scope must be confirmed for the project; listing a document here does not mean a certification or test result has been issued.
The capability review checklist separates common process options from the evidence needed to accept a finished part. Finished-part dimensions do not by themselves qualify a complete vacuum, pressure, electrical, medical, or food-contact assembly.
Engineering Content Method
Articles on this site are prepared and reviewed under CERAMIC CNC Engineering, the technical content identity used by Suzhou Como Precision Materials Co., Ltd. The intended readers are engineers, designers, quality teams, and procurement teams evaluating custom ceramic parts.
The content starts from decisions that affect a real drawing review: material and grade, blank state, functional surfaces, datums, feature risk, machining and finishing route, cleaning, packaging, inspection, and acceptance evidence. It is written to help a buyer identify unresolved requirements and prepare a more reviewable RFQ before feasibility and quotation are confirmed.
Our review method follows four rules:
- Separate general screening guidance from drawing-specific capability commitments.
- State which material, geometry, surface, process, or inspection assumption changes the decision.
- Link to the existing material, capability, application, or RFQ guide when it already answers the next question.
- Use an updated date only when the visible technical or sourcing guidance has materially changed; dates are not changed only to make a page appear fresh.
Evidence and Limits
Published tolerance ranges, material comparisons, process routes, and RFQ checklists are decision aids rather than blanket manufacturing guarantees. Final feasibility, grade properties, tolerances, surface condition, inspection scope, price, and lead time require review of the current drawing and requirements.
External manufacturer, industry, or standards references may be used to establish application context. They do not replace the selected grade datasheet, an agreed inspection method, or part-level qualification. When a page discusses a broad application, it should direct the reader to the most specific existing guide rather than repeat the same answer in another article.
Application examples and product illustrations explain geometry and sourcing decisions. They are not customer delivery records, measured results, or evidence of a certified facility. A documented project needs its own material, drawing revision, inspection method, and acceptance record.
To report an error or request the basis for a statement, email info@szcomo.com with the page URL and the relevant material, grade, or requirement.
For the main decision paths, use the material selection guide, machining and inspection capabilities, application review paths, or RFQ preparation page.
